Descripción

· Installs, configures and maintains base systems and infrastructure.

· Supports team in technology deployment and services.

· Arranges installations and upgrades in accordance with change policies.

· Develops and maintains comprehensive system configuration including related documentation and support.

· Installs new releases, system upgrades and enhancements.

· Evaluates and installs patches and resolves issues related to servers used by the company.

· Researches new products and technologies that aid or are immersed in company initiatives.

· Monitors and tunes systems to achieve optimal levels of performance.

· Conducts routine system audits.

· Suggests and assists in implementing policies and procedures related to data warehousing.

· Automates the provisioning, implementation and monitoring of infrastructure.

· Participates in the rotational shift system with other team members.

Perfil buscado (h/m)

· Technical or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or equivalent.

· At least intermediate English.

· 3+ years as a Server system administrator in a VMware, Windows and Linux environment.

· Experience integrating products into a complex system.

· Experience with various versions/platforms of storage design and management (SAN and NAS).

· Experience in installation, configuration, administration and support of server and storage equipment infrastructure.

· Experience implementing best practices and optimizing equipment performance.

· Solid knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware, KVM or similar Hypervisors.

· Solid knowledge of servers, data storage systems, monitoring, alerting, synchronization and optimization, including specifications and documentation.

· Knowledge of system security principles and practices.

· Ideal knowledge of AWS, OpenStack, or other Cloud computing platforms.

· Ideal knowledge of Ansible, Terraform, or related automation tools.
